My husband and I are expats and travel frequently, so instead of owning a dog, we used to foster a seeing eye dog puppy in training, who we adopted recently. We were fortunate to have a supportive local community of volunteers who care for our puppy as if it were their own whenever we are away.

While I discovered how impactful a supportive, in-person community can be, sadly, many dog owners lack support, leading to record-high pet surrenders in Australia due to financial pressures, and limited community resources

This inspired Pawshare Club—a community where pawrents can find dog lovers who live near by for walks, picnics, and pet-sitting swaps.

It offers peace of mind and reduces financial burden and stress, ensuring dogs are cared for while their owners are away.
