How do I get started?
Create a free profile, introduce yourself and discover pet lovers nearby. Start a conversation, then make plans for a walk, playdate or meetup when you feel ready.
Can I join without a dog or cat?
Yes. Pawshare Club welcomes pet owners and animal lovers, including people who have lost a pet, recently moved or are not ready to own a pet. You can meet local pet people and join pet-friendly activities.
We currently welcome dogs and indoor cats.
What can I do with other members?
Meet for a walk, a playdate, a coffee or a community event. You can also share recommendations for local parks, pet-friendly cafes and pet businesses.
Choose activities that suit everyone and agree on the details together.
How do I find a good fit for me and my pet?
Read each other’s profiles and talk about your interests and your pet’s personality, behaviour and comfort around other animals. Take your time getting to know one another.
Start with a short meeting in a suitable public place. Ask before approaching or introducing pets, and keep introductions calm.
How can I stay safe when meeting members?
Chat first, meet in a public place and choose an activity you feel comfortable with. Keep an eye on your pet and respect other members’ boundaries.
If someone behaves inappropriately, report your concern through the member platform or email info@pawshareclub.com.
Can my pet join if they have serious behavioural issues?
For everyone’s safety, pets with serious behavioural issues should not join community activities until their behaviour has improved. A qualified trainer or animal behaviour professional can help you decide what is suitable for your pet.
Does Pawshare Club provide insurance?
No. Pawshare Club helps pet lovers connect for pet-friendly activities. Members are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for themselves and their pets.
